Pasta Session in Aglio e Olio Sauce




































Spending last weekend of our country's Ramadan a-week holiday, still, felt exhausted from everything. Did the households, cooking daily meal for family since any food stores are mostly keep closed, greeting some relatives who coming home once a year, a happiness thing including had a vacation times (err with spending few hours passed on the crowded traffic jam). It's all fun and thankful, anyway, to take quality times with family and spent in togetherness. Now, just before everything back to normal activities, I decided to made a recharging dish. Grabbing a pocketful of spaghetti and bottles of herbs, I know it may sounds heavy dish but it's same weight to how people here are always tempted to eating rice. Guess I'm lazy enough to do hard cooking and done enough to eat rice with some tasty foods after this time. Really, although my fams didn't celebrate the Ramadan, it always full moment of tasty fatty dishes you could treat, obviously next to gaining more obesity
*hmm diet? maybe tomorrow..well, always tomorrow.. lol


Emang yah yang namanya liburan enggak kerasa lewatnya. Beres-beres rumah udah meski kelar separuh, separuhnya lagi hehe.. ditunda entah kapan :D ditambah kedatangan sanak saudara dari jauh plus vacation, ini badan maunya istirahat nghabisin hari libur yang tersisa *eh lupa, belum lagi waktunya kepake buat masak... maklum ga ada yang buka dan ga pake pembantu jadi ya masak sendiri.. senang sih tapi ya itu abis waktunya haha... nggak mengeluh juga, yang penting dinikmati dengan senang. Nah, berhubung kondisi fisik lagi dipulihkan, alhasil bikin ini deh sekaligus pembangkit selera..eh, semangat! Ngga bohong kalau pasta atau spagetti jadi menu yang mudah. Gampang dan cepat mengenyangkan, lebih-lebih bagus buat diet dan lagi eneg makan nasi. Apalagi sekarang sudah ada produk bumbu instan dengan harga yang cukup terjangkau, rasanya juga oke. Tinggal sobek *eits selalu, cek kadaluwarsanya dulu* tumis bentar di wajan, boleh juga ditambahin bahan tambahan kayak jamur, onion, atau sosis lalu tuang di atas pasta atau spagetti yang sudah al-dente di atas piring. Yumm! Biasanya aku juga suka diolah ala aglio e olio. Sederhana, yakni tumisan garlic, fresh/dry parsley dan olive oil aja cuma lebih thicker sausnya. Kalau mau lebih variatif bisa ditambahin irisan bawang bombai dan fresh seledri, sedikit taburan black pepper, potongan tomat, plus irisan sosis atau jamur...tuang, aduk-aduk dengan pasta / spagetti yang al-dente. So, ini dia versi yang aku buat dengan tambahan udang *kalo ada mussel/clams lebih enak lagi jadinya.. dan taburan serutan kulit lemon tipis-tipis dan dry parsley. Recharging dish? Tentu!

Here I adding seafood version by using quick pan-fried prawn in butter, cherry tomatoes, slice of sausage with thin shredded of lemon skin in aglio e olio sauce, dry parsley and fresh chopped celery. For me it's a simple but kindly addicted summer dish.

2-5 fresh prawn
cut half the back to clean the dirt, wash and quick stirred with a squeeze of
1 tsp of lemon/lime juice 
quick pan-fried the prawns in butter. Keep the butter juice to mix with the sauce:
olive oil
chopped garlic
pinch of salt and pepper
dry italian herb
add slices of
cherry tomatoes
sausages (or mushroom)
cook for minutes
add prawns and al-dente pasta
stir in and sprinkle 
dry parsley and lemon skin
and garnish with fresh celery/herbs
